Here are some ideas: • Always be there for your teenager especially when they need to get out of a bad situation • Get to know your child’s friends as well as the friends parents as this will always keep you in the know of where your child is and what your child is doing • Keep connected as what your child does after school • Parents must always be a role model to their teenagers • When your teenager goes out ask them who are they going with and what their plans are Prevent your teenager from going off the rails by just always being there for them and most of all make sure you create an open relationship with your teenager, therefore short circuiting the need for teen drug rehabilitation.
