Tart Cherry Juice Good for Insomnia?

Insomnia has been a growing problem for people who cannot get decent sleep and perhaps one solution is to find something to cure it. And thanks to a new study, it looks like Tart Cherry Juice can be a great way to address insomnia. The drink is called CherriBundi was used on 15 older adults for two weeks where it was found that they had improved sleeplessness and saved about 17 minutes of wake time after going to bed. The high content of melatonin in the tart cherries may have helped moderate the body’s sleep-wake cycle. Sleep issues plague more than 40 million adults in the United States, according to statistics by the National Institutes of Health. Cherries are also rich in anthocyanins that provide health benefits such as reduced inflammation.
