It’s been so busy at Green Mountain this week, I haven’t done anything about today’s post. And as I write this, I sit in a hotel room, waiting in anticipation for a conference to begin on Understanding Biotransformation & Recognizing Toxicity. It’s part of my continuing education in functional nutrition/medicine that is giving us at Green Mountain more tools to use in our continuing effort to help women improve their health to achieve the goal of healthy weights . It’s all part of our Food as Medicine program, which we have introduced to help women with underlying physical issues that are getting in their way of living a healthy lifestyle. So I apologize for the lack of link love today on our blog. Okay, maybe one. Here’s a great-looking recipe for Swiss chard from one of our favorite healthy food sites, The World’s Healthiest Foods. I hope to post some interesting information in future posts about the issue of detox diets, which is definitely a buzz term when it comes to achieving and maintaining healthy weights. If you’re interested, stay tuned.
